Unsure where this huge pile came from, but I had it, and it needed separating

While sitting at work, I came up with this idea - and its "green" too, these are business cards that were left over from a previous employee:

Flamingo Bookmark - In Progress

I am currently working on some stitched bookmarks that may be given as gifts.

Here is my first one.  A pink Flamingo.  I based the design off of a free digital stamp from Dustin Pike the only real change I have made is adding the second leg and making the beak a bit more pointy.  I may do the water a bit differently once I get into it.

Most of the stitches are backstitch.  The eyes are french knots.  His legs are done with the couching technique, and his "knees" are a satin stitch.
