Handmade Ornaments - Day 9

Paper Flowers

My inspiration:

You can find the tutorail here:  http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2008/12/paper-flower-ornaments.html

These were so fun and easy I made 3 in different sizes.

I did these on my lunch break at work, so I dont have my tiny tree and red backdrop.

This is the smallest one, made with a regular letter size piece of paper as per the tutorial.

This is the biggest one.  I used 11" long strips off a 12x12" paper and cut them 2" wide.  I alternated with this black and white christmas paper that has christmas words on it and white cardstock.

This on is 11" long strips cut 1" wide.  I used a sheet of 12x12 paper then turned every other strip upside down so the pattern is on the inside.  I like the say it turned out.

Handmade Ornaments - Day 8

Wire Wrapped Wire Heart

Another idea from Pinterest with no blog or tutorial to give credit to.

Original Inspiration Photo:

My ornament:

It did not show up well on this little white tree, I hope I can find a place on my actual tree where it will look nice.

I would love to make this again and use real crystals, the ones with the aurora borealis finish.
I used plastic beads for this one.

Handmade Ornaments - Day 7

RIBBON TREE

Today's Inspriation:

This idea came from pinterest, but it is only a link to a picture.  No blog or tutorial to give credit to.

If you know to whom I can give credit, please let me know.

I tried to make two of these with some small satin ribbon.  These were harder than I expected them to be.

Handmade Ornaments - Day 6

Felt Mushroom
Via Flickr User Jenna-Lou

Today's Inspiration:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/jennalou/2108557049/in/faves-alwaysinspired/

I loved the color scheme so I kept it, with the exception of using cram colored felt instead of white, I decided I liked it better as simply a mushroom so I didn't put on the door and window.  I also didnt stuff mine.
